The Wheels on the bus….
Oct 2nd, 2008 by Natalie
I’ve just walked the kids to the bus stop..and it was chilly. We typically start walking down right at 7:00 o’clock, but today we were running a bit behind. So, I grabbed lunch-boxes, back-packs and jackets and we were off! Me in my pajamas (hey, I wear them when we’re on time too ;) flip-flops and coffee in hand. Note to self: remember to bring a flash-light for future mornings.
Alright…they’re loaded and enroute to school! Now, I skip merrily back down the road. Okay, not really…my coffee’s cold and I’m still not quite awake. Another note to self: no sleep aides after midnight.
Be sure to capture your little one’s fleeting moments. Consider booking a session for these candid milestones:
babies are typically start smiling btwn 6-8 wks, (of course who can resist capturing the newborn wrinkly elephant butt too?)
blowing rasberries btwn 3-4 mos
shaking a rattle at 4 mos
laughing bwtn 4-6 mos
sticking out their tongue at 4-6 mos
sucking on their feet at 5-6 mos
clapping at 9 mos
kisses at 1 yr
But, now that I’ve reheated it, what, 3 times now. I’m ready to sit, contemplate life and lay out my day. But, I think I’ll start with some internet surfing until I can devote a bit more attention. Maybe I’ll listen to some Stoney LaRue…
And…I’ve got to work on a good excuse for missing 2 days of PT this week. This is not a good way to start my hibernation phase of the year. Is this good ol’ catholic guilt rearing it’s head or just another way I’ve learned to torture myself? Maybe it’s CPT. Curran, who I might very well begin knocking on my door come 5:00 am and I’m awol
Man, aren’t these babies gorgeous? Always makes me smile
